This is the 10th annual meeting of the International Society for Computer Assisted Orthopaedic Surgery (CAOS-International) meeting in Paris from 17-19 June, 2010. This year we also arranged a preliminary day of specialist workshops on June 16, aimed at both those who are new to CAOS as well as those more familiar with the subject. The CAOS workshops and main conference have established themselves as the premier scientific event in the agenda of physicians, researchers, developers, and system providers who are interested in all aspects of CAOS technology - its development as well as ist clinical application and evaluation. The call for abstracts for this 10th Annual Meeting was very well received: about 250 abstracts were submitted by authors from 26 different countries. From these submissions an international Program Committee has selected 84 podium presentations, 22 special posters, and 116 posters that will be presented in Paris.
